I Can't Log In 🔐

Getting locked out of your account is frustrating, but most login issues have a straightforward fix. This guide covers the two most common scenarios: a forgotten password and a lost email address.

Check the Closot status page and our social channels for live updates on any known platform-wide issues before troubleshooting your login.

If You Forgot Your Password

  1. Open your web browser and go to closot.so/login
  2. Click Forgot password? and enter your email address
  3. Click Send reset link
  4. Open the reset email and follow the link — it will take you directly to your account Settings
  5. Set a new password from there
note

If you receive the reset link but don't set a new password right away, your existing password will be removed automatically. From that point forward, you can log in using a temporary one-time code sent to your email each time — no permanent password required until you set one.

If You Lost Access to Your Email

If you still have your Closot password, you can add a new email address to your account and switch it to primary without needing access to the old one.

  1. Go to Settings → click your name in the sidebar
  2. Under Account security, click Manage emails
  3. Click Add email and enter your new email address
  4. Click Send verification code, then enter the code that arrives in your new inbox
  5. Open the menu next to the new email address and select Make primary
  6. Optionally, select Remove next to the old email address to clean up your account
note

If you don't have a Closot password set, this process may require verification through your old email address. Without access to that email, the change cannot be completed through account settings. In that case, contact Closot support for assistance.

Still Can't Get In?
