I Can't Access My Own Page

If Closot is prompting you to "request access" to a page you created or previously had access to, something has changed between your account and that page's permissions. Here are the most common causes and how to address each one.

Check the Closot status page and our social channels for live updates on any known platform-wide issues.

You May Be Logged Into the Wrong Account

If you have more than one Closot account — or if you recently changed the email address on your account — you might be signed in as a different user than the one who owns the page.

Make sure you're logged into the correct account: the one that originally created the page or was granted access to it. You can check which account you're signed into from Settings → your profile.

Your Page Was Moved or Its Permissions Changed

Workspace administrators can move pages between spaces, change permission settings, or restructure the workspace in ways that affect your access. If someone with admin rights made changes, you may have lost access even to pages you previously owned.

Contact a workspace owner or administrator and ask them to check the page's permission settings and restore your access.

You're Getting an Error When Requesting Access

If you click the "Request access" button and see an error instead of a confirmation, this is likely a technical issue rather than a permissions problem.

Try the following:

  • Open the page link in a different browser
  • Clear your browser cache and try again

If neither of those works, reach out to Closot support with details about the error message you're seeing.
