I Can't Access Closot
If Closot isn't loading at all — the app won't open, the web version sits on a blank screen, or you're getting a network error — work through the steps below before contacting support.
Check the Closot status page and our social channels first to see whether there's a known platform-wide issue affecting access.
Things to Try
Check for Known Outages
Before troubleshooting your local setup, confirm whether the issue is on our end. Visit the Closot status page or check our social channels for live updates on any active incidents.
Disable Security and Privacy Software
Firewalls, VPNs, corporate proxy tools, and privacy extensions can all intercept or block the connections Closot needs. Temporarily disable any of these tools and try accessing Closot again. If it loads, the blocked connection was the culprit — add Closot to your allowlist rather than disabling the tool permanently.
Check Whether Your ISP Is Blocking Closot
Some internet service providers block certain domains. If you're on a managed or corporate network, check whether the closot.so domain is being filtered or restricted.
Switch DNS Servers
DNS resolution failures can prevent Closot from loading even when your general internet connection is working. Try switching to a public DNS provider:
- Google:
8.8.8.8 - Cloudflare:
1.1.1.1
Refer to your operating system or router documentation for steps on changing DNS settings.
Try a Different Browser, Device, or Platform
Isolate whether the issue is specific to your current setup. If Closot loads on a different browser or device, the problem is local to your original environment. If the desktop app isn't working, try the web version — or vice versa.
