Collaborate in a Workspace
Closot is designed for real-time, simultaneous collaboration. Multiple teammates can work on the same page or database at once — edits, comments, and suggestions appear live without any conflict or locking. Here's how collaborative work actually behaves and what controls are available to keep things organized.
Real-Time Collaboration
An unlimited number of people can be on the same page or database simultaneously. Unlike some document tools that lock sections when another user is editing, Closot keeps everything accessible — content is never locked simply because someone else is making changes to it.
What you see in real time:
- Teammate avatars appear next to the blocks they are currently editing
- Edits are reflected live for everyone on the page
- Comments and suggestions appear as they're added
To jump to where a teammate is working: click their avatar at the top of the page and you'll be taken directly to their current location.
Lock a Database
Database locking is a more targeted protection: it preserves the database structure — views, properties, sorts, and filters — while still allowing team members to edit the actual data inside it.
This means people can update records, add rows, and change property values, but cannot restructure the database itself.
Access database locking the same way as page locking — via the ••• menu at the top of the database.
