Notification Settings
Closot can email you when something happens that needs your attention. These settings control which kinds of activity are worth an email and which are better left to your Inbox.
Open Settings → Notifications to configure them.
Email Notifications
Each category can be switched on or off independently, so you can keep the signals you act on and silence the rest.
| Notification | Sends an email when |
|---|---|
| Activity in my workspace | A general digest covering comments, mentions, page invites, access requests, permission changes, and database property changes |
| Mentions | Someone @-mentions you in a page or a comment |
| Comments | A new comment or reply lands on a page you created or have replied to |
| Page shares | A page is shared with you |
| Permission changes | Your access level on a page is changed |
| Assignments | You're assigned to an item in a database |
| Workspace invitations | You're added to a workspace |
| Workarea access | You're granted access to a workarea |
| Access requests | Someone requests to join a workspace or workarea, and when those requests are accepted or rejected |
Choosing What to Keep On
Activity in my workspace is the broadest setting — it covers most of the categories below it. If you'd rather receive a smaller number of more targeted emails, turn it off and switch on only the specific categories you want.
Mentions, assignments, and access requests are the ones most likely to need action from you. Comments and page shares tend to be higher volume, so they're usually the first to switch off if your inbox is getting noisy.
