Closot gives you several ways to authenticate — from a quick one-click login with your existing Google or Apple account, to more security-focused options like passkeys and SAML SSO for enterprise teams. This article covers all available login methods and how to manage your sessions once you're in.
Ways to Log In
Closot supports the following authentication method:
- Continue with Google — Sign in instantly using your Google account, as long as your Closot account email matches your Google email address.
New Login Alerts
When you sign into Closot from a device that hasn't been used with your account before, Closot sends an email alert to notify you. The alert includes an approximate location based on the device's IP address.
If you receive an alert for a login you don't recognize:
- Open the email and click This was not me
- Closot will automatically log out that session
- You'll be given the option to reset your password and set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) for extra protection
