Closot's collaboration tools are built to keep teams moving — whether you're editing together in the same moment or catching up across time zones 🤝

Work Together in Real-Time

Multiple people can edit the same page simultaneously, with no limit on collaborators. As you work:

Profile photos appear on the page showing where each person is currently active
Changes show up live for everyone without needing to refresh
Click the clock icon (🕘) at the top of any page to view the full edit history:
- 🔵 Blue highlights indicate content that was added
- ~~Gray strikethrough~~ marks content that was removed
- Comments from collaborators are also visible in the timeline

Type @ followed by their name anywhere on a page
A live search menu appears — select their name and press Enter
They'll receive a mention notification in their Notification, plus a email on desktop or mobile if enabled

You can attach comments to almost anything in Closot:

On a page: Click Add comment above the page title
On text: Highlight the text and click the Comment option in the formatting toolbar
On an image, embed, or block: Click the ••• icon (top-right of the block) or the ⋮⋮ handle (left side on hover), then select Comment — right-clicking also works

tip

Use @ inside comments to pull specific teammates into the conversation.

Click Inbox in the left sidebar to see all your notifications in one place
Badge indicators tell you what needs your attention:
- Grey badge — general updates and activity
- Red badge — unread mentions waiting for your review
Click any notification to jump directly to the relevant comment, mention, or edit on the page
