Calendar View
Calendar view lets you see how your database items connect to specific dates — giving you a bird's-eye view of important launch dates, multi-day events, or projects spanning multiple months. Any database with a Date property can be displayed as a calendar, making it easy to plan and track time-sensitive work at a glance.
Create a Calendar View
New Full-Page Calendar Database
- Create a new page in your workspace
- Under "Get started with," click
•••→ Calendar
Inline Calendar
Type /Calendar view on any page and press Enter.
Add Calendar View to an Existing Database
- Click
+next to your current view name - Select Calendar from the view type dropdown
Your database must have at least one Date property for the calendar view to render items properly.
Customizing Your Calendar
Switch to Weekly View
For a more detailed, day-by-day perspective, switch from the default monthly layout to weekly:
Open layout settings → enable Display as weeks
Navigate Between Dates
Use the arrow buttons around the Today button to jump between months, or scroll to advance through date ranges continuously. Closot remembers the last date range you were viewing.
Drag Cards to Reschedule
Click and hold any card on the calendar, then drag it to a different date to reschedule. You can also drag the edges of multi-day cards to extend or shorten their date range.
Control Property Display
Choose which properties appear on each calendar card:
Settings → Property visibility → toggle 👁️ to show or hide, use ⋮⋮ to reorder
Switch Between Date Properties
If your database has multiple date properties, you can choose which one the calendar plots:
Settings → Layout → select the date property to display
Change the Week Start Day
Settings → Preferences → set week start to Sunday or Monday
Closot Calendar Integration
You can add Closot databases directly to Closot Calendar to bring your scheduled items together with appointments and meetings in one place. Any date changes made from Closot Calendar sync back to the database automatically.
